Connect Sitecore to TMS solutions
Use Wordbee Beebox with Sitecore to power-up your Sitecore website localization.
Beebox for Sitecore localization
Sitecore powers some of the world’s largest companies’ websites, handling large page volumes within a powerful, flexible framework. For those who need to localize their site, Wordbee Beebox and Wordbee Translator bring total control, flexibility, and automation into the localization process, because we know that Sitecore customers need power in their localization workflows.
Rui Milheiro, Hogarth Worldwide
“Wordbee has a lot of features that really stand out against other TMS systems on the market. You have a lot of power to customize the solution to pretty much any way of working that you need.”
Connect Sitecore to TMS systems or providers
Efficient middleware enables powerful workflows
You can connect Sitecore to any TMS system, including Wordbee Translator, or directly to providers, unlocking powerful workflows and professional localization while also preventing you from locking in with a single provider’s connector.
Beebox leverages translation memory
Before content is sent to the Wordbee Translation Management System or to your LSPs, Beebox leverages your translation memory, generates a cost preview, and helps you see what you saved with your translation memory (never pay for the same thing twice).
Ultimately, context is one of the most important parts of website localization. Wordbee Beebox, when used with Wordbee, gives you in-context editing and live previews.
How the Sitecore localization connector works
Sitecore sends content to Beebox for localization using web services
Sitecore sends any content, including pages, PIM, dictionaries, metadata, links and custom fields to Beebox for localization. Beebox then prepares the content for translation according to your rules and configurations. It also automatically tracks which translated content was edited in Sitecore and may need final approval by your translation provider.
Beebox applies your translation memory
Beebox features an independent translation memory that is applied as content streams into the Beebox. If a sentence or paragraph has already been translated in the past, you can optionally choose not to send that content for translation, reducing translations by as much as 20%.
Sends content to Wordbee for localization
Beebox generates a cost preview. When the cost preview is approved, Beebox sends your content to Wordbee (or other TMS tools) for translation. If using Wordbee, the CAT Tool has powerful features for project managers and linguists.
Automation takes place here too. You can automatically and conditionally kick off jobs and even translation assignments.
Publish back to Sitecore
When jobs are closed and your content is localized, Wordbee pushes your content back to Sitecore, and the content is automatically inserted where it belongs, preserving its original formatting. You can setup your own validation workflows to meet your requirements so nothing gets published without the right approval.
Additional features for Sitecore localization
Beebox provides a wide-array of benefits and features for Sitecore customers. This is just a selection.
No manual export
Everything is roundtripped via web services in a few clicks or automatically.
Any number of sites
Localize any number of sites within a single Sitecore instance without missing a beat.
Multiple source languages
You may have original content in different languages. Beebox makes it easy to translate from multiple source languages to different target languages.
Isolates HTML Markup
Beebox isolates HTML Markup to prevent against human error that may affect the formatting of your content.
Generate cost previews
Especially for LSPs, Beebox allows you to automatically generate a cost preview for your clients so they can see how much localization will cost based on your pricing rules.
Track which source content is new or changed. Track which translated content was edited in Sitecore and may need approval.
Connect your preferred vendors
You can also send content from Beebox straight to your vendors. One of the things this does is keep you from “locking in” with a specific vendor.
