The following privacy policy refers to your personal data and data that Wordbee may collect about your visit while you are using the Wordbee platform or products or while visiting the website at www.wordbee.com.

As for the information you create, keep, or maintain within the Wordbee platform or products, including translation memories, suppliers, clients, prices, invoices, and any such information generated by or for the use of the Wordbee platform or products, that information is private to your licensed account with Wordbee and protected by password as mentioned in the following Wordbee Privacy Policy.

Wordbee complies with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Privacy Policy Overview

Wordbee Translator provides the registered user online CAT services over the Internet. Wordbee makes the Wordbee Translator service available under a fee for its Wordbee Translator version with additional subscription plans for business purposes. Because Wordbee Translator is Web-based, it requires the use of first and last names, a password, a valid email address, and a valid credit card to process payment for service. Therefore, at a minimum, we require such necessary information during the registration process.

What information does Wordbee gather and how is it used?

Because of the nature of our products, we must collect personal information from users during the registration process, including but not limited to first and last names, a valid credit card to process payment for service, an email address and a password.

Your email address may be used to send you periodic information about Wordbee Translator or other products, but only upon your express consent. Because of our commitment to presenting the best possible product to all our users, we track the category of services selected by our individual users as well as all information pertaining to user satisfaction.

To ensure the quality of our product, we reserve the right to maintain evaluation and feedback records indefinitely.

Wordbee Link for Google Sheets’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to  Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Marketing communications

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor. Wordbee gives users the option for requesting by email the removal of their information from our database to not receive future communications except those related to a user’s active subscription.

Passwords and secure connections

Your Password should never be shared with anyone unless you intend to do collaborative work with others who need read/write access to your files. When we receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to the secure portion of our site using industry-standard SSL. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The user data is password protected. Wordbee Translator or other products may use cookies for user session tracking. The cookies are used solely for identifying user sessions and do not store any personal information regarding the user. This site gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided. You can go to your personal profile option after successfully logging in and correct information related to password, and option to receive communication regarding service.
