Sanitas required an End-to-End Solution
Sanitas needed an integrated, browser-based system that would streamline & automate their processes.
OVERVIEW
Flexibility, automation, and interoperability
As one of Switzerland’s biggest health insurers, Sanitas embarked on a process of digitalisation years ago and now has a modern online customer portal, a range of apps and an innovative, multilingual concept.
4 Official company languages
1 End-to-end system
Challenges
The official Sanitas languages are German, French, Italian and English. Therefore, texts need to be translated for both internal and external stakeholders. Before implementing Wordbee, the project management process was very rudimentary:
Orders were received by email and listed manually as Outlook tasks
Various tools that weren’t connected causing more manual work
Collaboration between translators, project managers, and customers was a challenge
Requirements
Sanitas wanted to move away from their outdated stand-alone solution towards an integrated, browser-based solution. Their key requirements to increase efficiency and automate the process steps that didn’t require any special human intervention included:
End-to-end system that handles every step of their workflow
High level of flexibility
Powerful automation features
Collaboration of all stakeholders within one platform
Interoperability with other tools already used within the company
TESTIMONIAL
Meet Vittoria Ceccarini
Head of Translation, Sanitas
“The solution is ideal for translators, agencies and internal language services who demand a high degree of workflow personalisation, task management, customer and supplier management and who want to work wherever, whenever and on whatever devices they want. It’s the ideal tool for smart working!”
Problem analysis
Sanitas’s corporate goals are: straightforward, innovative and collaborative. The integration and utilisation of technology plays a key role here. Offering language services for the whole company, the in-house translation team embodies the same values.
What Sanitas needed was a powerful end-to-end translation management system that could handle everything from order placement and translation to resource planning and business analytics.
Solution analysis
After careful consideration of several providers, Wordbee was selected as their tool of choice.
An important aspect was acceptance within the company. Everyone involved in the process has found the system to be practical, intuitive, fast and user-friendly. External users appreciate not having to buy new software and being able to work from any device, with full access to the tool.
Conclusion
By choosing Wordbee, Sanitas was able to increase efficiency of the whole process from start to finish.
With the help of analytics within Wordbee Translator, they are now able to identify trends quickly and respond proactively. The system’s flexibility allows them to adjust and personalise workflows at any time!
Thanks to Wordbee, they have been able to handle the growing volume of work without increasing their resources and offer additional services within the company.
Added value highlights
Sanitas appreciated the open communication and really felt like Wordbee listened to what they wanted. Other plus points included the fast response times of the support team and the low costs.
Additionally, Sanitas found the application structure to be excellent, with sequential navigation possible on a single level. They enjoy that the platform’s design is very intuitive and that they can handle all kinds of orders in a single system – from traditional translation jobs with or without revision all the way to testing requests for app texts, subtitling, etc.
