How we handle personal data of content subscribers
So, you are taking a look at our cool localization content and wondering what it means in terms of your personal data to signup for our newsletter. Well, you have come to the right place!
We use a newsletter publication tool called Sendinblue to store the names, emails, and other information provided of all those lucky people who subscribe to our newsletter.
As we’re always looking for cool new ways to deliver content to people in the localization industry, we may also use your name and email on Facebook or Linkedin to deliver our content to people who have similar interests as you do. We don’t do this often - but when we create some particularly juicy content, sometimes we like to promote it online.
The types of things we may send include information about the International Buzz podcast, articles we write about localization, webinars, seminars, or other events we are promoting, updates about Wordbee Translator or other Wordbee products, or other cool content ideas or promotional ideas that we come up with.
Our overall goal is to produce interesting, curious content about localization and global business for our subscribers with the overall result of increasing our brand awareness and sales.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter. In this case, you will no longer receive the newsletter, though we will continue to store your personal data specifically as an “unsubscriber” to avoid accidentally sending you another communication.
If you want to completely delete your data from Sendinblue, you’ll have to write-in to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
