There are multiple different job statuses, such as draft, not assigned, inactive, proposal, not started, in progress, completed, approved, proposal declined, or canceled. The status indicates at which stage of the process the job is. It allows the client or project manager to keep an overview of the progress. For example, they can easily see when they have to assign a new supplier due to a declined proposal; or when the job is done and the file ready for delivery. All stakeholders stay up to date while no email exchange or other communication is needed.
