In Wordbee, project managers can create different word count profiles to adapt them to different use cases. You can configure counting algorithms as in Microsoft Word or similar to other translation tools. Within the setup, it is also possible to apply granular options. First of all, the interval of fuzzy matches can be adjusted as well as if and how repetitions are counted. Also, a vast array of options for pre-translations is available. PMs can define when pre-translations from translation memories shall be made and if so, whether those segments should be locked. Furthermore, dates, numbers, or tags can be automatically changed in the pre-translation for otherwise perfect matches. The settings also allow for automatically including machine translation during the word count process.
