How to Find Your Brand Voice in Localization
In this panel, marketing experts will be discussing how you can find your brand voice, and what it takes to keep that same voice in different languages as there are multiple factors during the translation process that can influence it, e.g. translators, culture, lingo.

Esther has been helping brands create great user experiences across global markets for over 15 years. In her current role she leads the Content Effectiveness team - a multidisciplinary team focused on ensuring the impact of Indeed’s localized materials in each of their target markets. One of Esther’s areas of interest is integrating developments from the content marketing world into localization processes.
Erica is a marketing globalization pro and runs her own consultancy advising on globalization of marketing and advertising. She has held long-term roles at Apple and Atlantic Record, and is now the Executive Director of the Marketing Committee for Women in Localization.
Bruno is an expert in Digital Globalization with more than 20 years of experience at companies like Nielsen and Hewlett-Packard. He’s a columnist writing about branding, marketing & digital content, and advisory board member at the Brand2Global Conference, an event educating about global branding/marketing/digital media and localization.
Romina has 21 years experience in the translation industry. She holds a BA as well as two MAs in translation. Her formal training was followed by a number of posts across different aspects of the discipline: in-house translator in a legal publisher, university lecturer of Translation Studies, project manager and eventually manager of translation teams. Her training and professional career have given Romina a thorough understanding of workflows and technology and how best to deploy those for clients.
