Guest panelists
Gabriele is on a lifelong mission to consult and help companies with their terminology management issues. She does primarily via TermNet, an international organization dedicated to terminology. Additionally, she’s the founder of the European Diversity Management Forum and vice-president of the European Certification and Qualification Association.
Isabella is terminology certified from TermNET as well as ECQA and helps implement terminology strategies for her clients. She has more than 25 years of experience in the translation industry and offers localization services in her day-to-day business.
Detlef is Chair of the ISO Subcommittee “Management of terminology resources” and currently leading the standard project ISO 26162 which deals with the design principles for creating terminology databases and the development of terminology management systems. He’s a long-standing member of the German Terminology Association where he has held multiple positions including Managing Director and recently joined the German Terminology Institute. In addition, he also provides terminology consulting services to industry and government agencies. His motto: the biggest terminology challenge is data engineering.
