XPath expressions allow project managers to define what parts of an XML file to extract for translation. It is possible to extract text strings for translation, meta-information into custom fields to give linguists more context during the translation, or exclude certain parts from translation. The built-in XPath builder tool also enables the creator of XPath expressions to test their configuration before the actual testing process. This way, it is possible to create customized parsers for XML-based file formats and handle the localization of different systems.
